Mission

The mission of Urbana Friends Church can be summed up with three words; “Love, Connect, Go”. It is our desire to fulfill God’s calling for the church by focusing our efforts in these three areas, both vertically with God and horizontally in community with others.

Values

We have many values as a church, tied into the same values which Christ shares with us in Scripture. For anyone experiencing our church we hope they see us exemplifying the following values: God’s Grace, Prayerful People, Godly Leadership, Deep Loving Connection, and Going Forward as Missionaries.

Vision

Our vision is not new or unique. Rather, we tie our hope for a church into the same mission that Christ has always had for his Church. We plan to pursue Christ’s mission in three actionable ways: Developing Deep Community, Equipping the Church, and Releasing Missionaries.
